New Eden is famous for being a dangerous, cutthroat place. Less well known are its many stories of kindness and generosity. I’d like to change that. I’m touring the most dangerous parts of New Eden, looking for and recording these stories, while writing a few of my own along the way.
As a member of Signal Cartel, I am honor-bound to uphold its credo. In essence, this means I do my best to be a friend to everyone I meet in my travels, never initiating aggression against another and striving to be left in peace to do my work.
You’ll meet plenty of folks in New Eden who want to kill you and destroy your possessions. I’d like it if you also made a friend or two along the way. Count me among that number. I’ll keep an eye out for you on my d-scan, and I’ll be sure to give you a shout in Local when we meet.
If I can ever be of service to you in any way, please feel free to send me an EVE-mail. If you’re looking for a family in New Eden, our doors are always open. If you’re lost and alone and just need a hand, look no further than the scouts of the EvE-Scout Enclave. You can usually find us hanging out in the public “EvE-Scout” channel.
“I shall make no aggression, I shall have no kills, I shall win no glory. I am the beacon in the darkness. I am the scout who maps the realms of men. I pledge my clone and my honor to the Signal Cartel.” —adapted from the Signal Cartel oath, as originally set forth by Veldin Ostus on 21 Sep YC 117
